Hsiao-wen zan

Prof. Zan joined Department of Photonics, NCTU in 2003 as an assistant professor, she was promoted to be an associate professor and a full professor in 2008 and 2012, respectively. She had a background in silicon thin-film transistors, and started to work on oxide TFT and organic TFT since 2005. Her research interests are developing new structure transistors/sensors, particularly targeting the applications in flexible electronic and in health care. Since 2007, she continuously worked on developing biomedical sensors. In 2013 and 2017, she published the study on using breath ammonia as health indicator in rats with liver injury and in hemodialysis patients, respectively.
