Weiping Wu (吴卫平)

吴卫平，中国科学院上海光学精密机械研究所研究员，博士生导师。本科和博士分别毕业于上海交通大学和中国科学院化学研究所，曾在在剑桥大学、南安普顿大学光电子研究中心等知名实验室工作。2015年受聘伦敦城市大学乔治丹尼斯助理教授，2020年全职回国工作，同年入选中国科学院“百人计划”，主要研究方向包括光电功能材料、低维半导体材料、光电器件和光学超材料等。作为项目负责人承担了科技部重点研发课题和自然科学基金面上等科研项目。在Chemical Society Reviews、Nano Letters、Advanced Functional Materials、Carbon等杂志上发表论文50余篇。在国际上担任国际化学工业协会(Society of ChemicalIndustry)中英分会主席（2015-2020），国际纯粹与应用化学联合会 ( IUPAC )第VI分会委员等职务。

Dr. Weiping Wu is a Professor at ShanghaiInstitute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Hegraduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science and Engineering atShanghai Jiao Tong University in 2004. He received his Ph.D. in chemistry fromthe Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) in 2010. From2010 to 2013 he worked as a research associate at the University of Cambridge, anda research fellow at the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC), University ofSouthampton from 2013 to 2015. He took the George Daniels Lectureship at City,University of London in 2015 and worked in the UK till 2020. He has publishedmore than 50 papers with total citations of over 4000 and an h-index of 33. He wasthe chairman of Chinese UK Group, Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) from2015-2020. He is one of the young observers of the International Union of Pure in2019, a committee member of IUPAC Div VI and a Senior Member of OSA (TheOptical Society).
