张万隆，深圳大学助理教授，博士，2012年获得北京理工大学的学士学位，2019年获得香港科技大学的博士学位，同年加入香港科技大学先进显示与光电子技术国家重点实验室，担任副研究员职位。2020年加入深圳大学微纳光电子学研究院並担任助理教授，研究兴趣主要包括液晶的光控取向技术；液晶薄膜光学器件的制备；超构表面器件研究；新型显示技术等。近年来，在National Science Review, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Advanced Optical Materials, Nano Letters, Advanced Science, Optics Letters等各类期刊上发表学术论文20余篇，国内外学术会议中发表口头报告20余次。主持国家自然科学基金青年基金、广东省面上项目、深圳市稳定支持等。

Dr. Wanlong Zhang studied with Prof. Hoi-Sing Kwok and received his Ph.D in 2019 from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and joint Shenzhen University as an assistant professor in 2020. He has actively engaged in liquid crystal photoalignment technology, semiconductor quantum rods alignment, liquid crystal photonics application, liquid crystal devices with metasurface structures, and optical diffractive deep neural network. He has more than 10 papers published in Advance Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Advanced Optical Materials, Nano Letters, Advanced Science, Optics Letters etc. More importantly, he was selected by the SID China and KIDS committee as the Young Leader for the 1st Young Leader Conference during IMID 2019.
