秦宗为中山大学电子与信息工程学院任副教授、博士生导师，主要研究方向为VR/AR、车载显示、场色序LCD、应用视觉等，承担华为、海思、Vivo、华星、天马、海信、歌尔、HTC、E Ink等企业的产学合作项目以及重点研发课题、国自然面上等纵向项目；以第一或通讯作者发表SCI论文30余篇 ，为超过30件不同国家专利的发明人。他以首要贡献者4次获得SID Display Week的Distinguished (Student) Paper Award，5次ICDT的杰出（学生）论文奖；在SID、SPIE、IDW、ICDT、IMID等国际会议上发表邀请报告30余次，包括在SID’21和SID’25两次90分钟Seminar报告。他目前担任SID、SID China、SPIE Photonics West的 技术委员，SID Display Week的Seminar Chair，ICDT’26的程序委员会共主席， Journal of SID的Associate Editor；获SID China的年度杰出显示青年人才奖、杰出贡献奖，Journal of SID的Best Associate Editor，美国光学学会的Outstanding Reviewer，华为公司光产品线的优秀技术合作项目奖。

Zong Qin is now an Associate Professor at Sun Yat-Sen University (Guangzhou). His research interests include VR/AR, vehicular display, LCDs, and applied vision. He has published over 30 SCI-indexed papers as first or corresponding author, and holds more than 30 patents in various countries. He received four Distinguished (Student) Paper Awards from SID Display Week and five Distinguished (Student) Paper Awards from ICDT. He has given over 30 invited talks at SID, SPIE, IDW, ICDT, IMID, etc., two 90-minute Seminars at SID’21 and SID’25 on near-eye display optics. He serves as a technical committee member of SID, SID China, and SPIE Photonics West, as well as Seminar Chair and Chair of SID Display Week, and Program Committee Co-Chair of ICDT’26. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of SID. He was awarded by SID China as the Outstanding Display Young Talent of the Year, by the Journal of SID as Best Associate Editor, by Optica Publishing Group as Outstanding Reviewer, and by Huawei for the Distinguished Technical Cooperation Project.
