She is currently conducting research in photomedicine at Stanford University in the United States and serving as the Chief Technology Officer of Hangzhou Santai Testing Technology Co., Ltd. Dr. Mou is a registered Chinese expert of several international standardization technical committees, including IEC TC110 Electronic Displays, IEC TC100 Audio/Video Equipment, IEC TC76 Photobiological Safety, and ISO TC274 Light and Lighting. She also acts as the international standards liaison officer for IEC TC110 Electronic Displays and ISO TC94 Personal Safety - Personal Protective Equipment, where she is responsible for coordinating the international standardization of health protection for personal display wearables. In addition, approved by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), she serves as the Convener of the Joint Research Forum CIE/ISO TC274 RF04, leading research on lighting application technologies and international standardization for virtual reality (VR/AR/MR). In recent years, she has served as the leader of multiple international standard projects, spearheading the development of international standards such as IEC 63145-22-20 Eyeworn Displays - Test Methods for AR Image Quality and IEC 62977-2-2 Electronic Displays - Test Methods for Ambient Light Performance. In particular, she has formulated internationally recognized unified evaluation standards for key parameters of augmented reality (AR) glasses, including ambient light contrast and color gamut, virtual image resolution and flicker, secondary imagery, real-world field of view (FOV), image distortion, Michelson contrast, and image registration. Recently, as a core technical member of the national key R&D program of the 14th Five-Year Plan "Research and Development of Core Optical Devices for Glasses-Free 3D Displays", she has been responsible for the research and development of two new international standards. She has also represented China in proposing international standards including "Stereoscopic Displays - Test Methods for 3D Display Characteristics Under Ambient Light", "Metaverse - Evaluation Methods for Non-Visual Effects in Immersive Environments" and "Special Display Applications - Digital Signage Displays", all of which have been confirmed by the International Organization for Standardization. |
