国家海外优青项目获得者 (2022年),国家重点研发计划首席青年科学家(2024年),江苏省杰出青年科学基金获得者(2024年),姑苏创新创业领军人才,入选斯坦福大学2022-2024年发布的“Top 2% of the World's Most Cited Scholars”榜单。主持基金委面上项目。长期担任Nature/Nature Materials/Nature Reviews Materials/Nature Communications等顶级期刊审稿人,Aggregate、Chinese Chemical Letters、 Energy Materials and Devices杂志青年编委。

结合理论与实验研究手段,从事有机/高分子材料的光电转换物理机制研究,迄今为止以第一作者(含共同第一)或通讯作者发表论文70余篇,包括Nature Energy (2篇),Nature Materials (3篇),Nature Photonics (3篇),Nature Communications (6篇),Advanced Materials (4篇),Angewandte Chemie International Edition(5篇)。荣获2024年江苏省自然科学百篇优秀学术论文奖励和2022-2003年度苏州市自然科学优秀学术论文一等奖。相关成果被Science、 Nature Energy、Tech Xplore 等杂志或媒体作为重要研究进展进行专题报道。为专著“Conjugated Polymers: Perspective, Theory, and New Materials” 撰写章节。相关研究成果得到了日本OLED材料研发科技公司Kyulux、央企江苏三月科技股份有限公司的密切关注,并获得专项横向研发基金资助,推动成果的应用转化。

Professor Xiankai Chen is a recipient of the National Overseas High-Level Young Talents Program (2022), Chief Young Scientist of the National Key R&D Program (2024), and recipient of the Jiangsu Provincial Outstanding Youth Science Foundation (2024). He is also a Leading Talent in Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Gusu, and was named in Stanford University’s "Top 2% of the World's Most Cited Scholars" list for the period 2022–2024. He currently presides over a General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

He has long served as a reviewer for top-tier journals including Nature, Nature Materials, Nature Reviews Materials, and Nature Communications, and acts as a Young Editorial Board Member for journals such as Aggregate, Chinese Chemical Letters, and Energy Materials and Devices.

Integrating theoretical and experimental research methods, Professor Chen focuses on the study of physical mechanisms underlying optoelectronic conversion in organic/polymer materials. To date, he has published more than 70 papers as the first author (including co-first author) or corresponding author, with publications in prestigious journals such as Nature Energy (2 papers), Nature Materials (3 papers), Nature Photonics (3 papers), Nature Communications (6 papers), Advanced Materials (4 papers), and Angewandte Chemie International Edition (5 papers).

He has been honored with the "Top 100 Excellent Academic Papers of Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Award" in 2024 and the First Prize of "Suzhou Natural Science Excellent Academic Papers" for the 2003–2022 term. His relevant research achievements have been featured as important research progress in special reports by journals and media outlets including Science, Nature Energy, and Tech Xplore. He has also contributed a chapter to the monograph Conjugated Polymers: Perspective, Theory, and New Materials.

Professor Chen’s research outcomes have garnered close attention from Kyulux, a Japanese tech company specializing in OLED material R&D, and Jiangsu Sanyue Technology Co., Ltd., a central state-owned enterprise. His team has received special horizontal R&D funding to promote the application and transformation of these research results.
