Min Chul Suh
Min Chul Suh 庆熙大学,教授 Kyung Hee University,Professor Prof. Min Chul Suh is a Professor in the Department of Information Display at Kyung Hee University and Associate Dean of the College of Science. He received his Ph.D. in Polymer and Organic Materials Chemistry from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He began his career at Samsung in 2000 as a founding member of the AMOLED development team, where he contributed to the foundational technologies that have enabled today’s large-scale mass production of AMOLED displays. With more than 25 years of experience in OLED materials, device physics, and optical engineering, Prof. Suh has led pioneering research on microcavity OLEDs, corrugated nanophotonic structures, nanoporous scattering films, and AI-assisted device and materials optimization. His work spans both fundamental studies and advanced device engineering, contributing to the development of next-generation OLED and photonic display technologies. Prof. Suh has served in numerous leadership roles within the Korean Information Display Society (KIDS) and is currently serving as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors. He served as the Technical Program Chair for IMID 2025 and now serves as the Executive Committee Chair for IMID 2026, continuing to promote international collaboration and interdisciplinary innovation in the display community. |
