刘言军博士目前在深圳南方科技大学电子与电气工程系任职教授，主要从事液晶光电子学、等离激元光子学、超材料及超表面等领域的研究。目前已经累计发表文章90多篇，会议报告20多次，其中邀请报告8次，出版专著2章，申请专利5项，论文总引用超过1500次，H指数24。许多工作在一些重要的杂志上作为封面文章发表，包括Advanced Materials, Applied Physics Letters, Small, Nanoscale, Journal of Physical Chemistry C, Journal of Materials Chemistry C和Nanotechnology。此外，刘言军博士还荣获2006年国家优秀自费留学生奖；2007年ICTP TRIL Programme Fellowship；2012年新加坡科技局职业发展奖；2015年Joseph Wang Award。

Yanjun Liu, Ph.D. currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Shenzhen, where his main research focuses on liquid crystal optoelectronics, plasmonic photonics, metamaterials, and metasurfaces. To date, he has published more than 90 academic papers, delivered over 20 conference presentations including 8 invited talks, contributed 2 chapters to monographs, and filed 5 patent applications; his research has accumulated over 1,500 total citations with an H-index of 24. Many of his works have been featured as cover articles in prestigious journals such as Advanced Materials, Applied Physics Letters, Small, Nanoscale, Journal of Physical Chemistry C, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, and Nanotechnology. In addition, Dr. Liu has earned a series of notable honors, including the 2006 National Award for Excellent Self-Financed Chinese Students Abroad, the 2007 ICTP TRIL Programme Fellowship, the 2012 Career Development Award from Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), and the 2015 Joseph Wang Award.
