特聘教授周卓辉,任职于清华大学达 37 年,同时担任 “光与健康协会” 理事长。此前,他于美国密歇根大学先后取得硕士与博士学位;之后,曾在美国加州 IBM 研究中心担任客座科学家。

截至目前,他已拥有 111 项专利,发表国际期刊论文 314 余篇,著有三本教科书及两本健康科普书籍 ——《拥抱暗黑》与《护眼,从用对光开始》。在其斩获的 57 项荣誉奖项中,以太阳光与烛光 OLED 的发明最具颠覆性。

周教授亦是全球为数不多、掌握蓝光伤害量化技术专利的学者。依托这些核心技术,他成功研发出 “追日仿烛” 节律照明系统。该系统性能优于国际空间站所用照明设备,具备全方位友好特性,可实现日夜全天候使用。

Distinguished Professor Jwo-Huei Jou hasdedicated an impressive 37 years of his academic career to Tsing HuaUniversity, Hsinchu. He currently holds the position of Chairman of Light andHealth Association, Taiwan. His extensive educational background includesearning both his master and doctoral degrees from the esteemed University ofMichigan. Following his academic achievements, he gained valuable experience asa visiting scientist at the IBM Research Center in California, USA. Throughouthis career, Professor Jou has demonstrated remarkable innovation and scholarlyexcellence. He holds an extraordinary 111 patents and has contributedsignificantly to the field of optics and light health with over 314publications in international journals.

His influence extends into education aswell, as he is the author of three comprehensive textbooks and two accessiblepopular science books focused on eye protection and physical health: namely"Embracing Darkness" and "Protecting Eyes: Begin with UsingLight Wisely." Professor Jou's groundbreaking work has earned him 57awards, with notable recognition for his inventions of sunlight and candlelightOLEDs. He is also one of the few scholars worldwide to hold patents related toquantifying blue light hazards. Thes expertises have led to the development ofan innovative "Sunlight-Candlelight Circadian Lighting" system, whichnot only surpasses that currently used in the International Space Station, butis also designed to be omni-friendly and usable for day and night. Thisremarkably showcases Professor Jou's commitment to advancing knowledge andtechnology in the realm of light and health.
