Tae-Woo Lee
Tae-Woo Lee 首尔国立大学,教授 Seoul National University,Professor Tae-Woo Lee, Member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK), currently serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Seoul National University. His research focuses on organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite materials and display technologies. He has led the development of high-efficiency perovskite light-emitting diode (PeLED) technology, published 311 academic papers, and obtained 445 patents. He also founded SN Display Co., Ltd. to advance the commercialization of related technologies. Appointed as a Member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK) and recipient of the Korea Engineering Award in 2021, he had previously been honored with the Republic of Korea Presidential Award in 2008. In December 2022, he participated in the virtual conference of the 4th International Conference on Flexible Electronics Technology and attended the 1st Chem & Bio Engineering Forum where he delivered a keynote speech. His research team has integrated design strategies such as nanoscale polycrystalline thin films into perovskite LED research, achieving 100% coverage of the Rec. 2020 color gamut. Their research outcomes have garnered wide attention from the international academic community, with relevant comments published in the journal Nature Synthesis. |
