Dr. Chen Chen is the CEO and co-founder of Saphlux, Inc., a global leader of QD-microLED display solutions. He led the Saphlux Team from the ground up, developing and commercializing three innovative products: Semi-polar GaN materials, the R-series NPQD® Micro-LED chip, and the T-series NPQD® Micro-LED displays.

Prior to establishing Saphlux, Dr. Chen was an R&D engineer at Schlumberger, where he successfully developed ONYX360 rolling cutter, with sales exceeding $1 billion, and received World Oil Award and the E&P Meritorious Award. Holding over 60 patents, he obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University,   completed his postdoctoral research at Harvard University, and earned his MBA from the Yale School of Management.
