·        AMLCD,AMOLED TFT backplane design: Design, fabricationand characterization of AMLCD and AMOLED TFT backplane with a-Si:H TFTs, a-IGZOTFTs, and LTPS TFTs, also through numerical simulation using TCAD andSmartSpice.

·        Gate drivercircuit/ pixel circuit design: Design, fabrication and characterization of gatescan driver circuit for display backplane and compensation circuit forAMOLED/AMLED pixel circuit design with OLED and micro-LED.

·        Oxide TFT: Design, fabrication andcharacterization ofoxideTFT. IGZO TFT is used in the TFT backplane offlat-panel displays.

·        Organictransistor basedbiosensor: Design, fabrication andcharacterization of pentacene based thin film transistors for DNA, cancer cell andother biomolecules detection.

·        Organic non-volatile memory device: Design, fabrication andcharacterization of organic memory devices based-on pentacence FETs withvarious kinds of nanoparticles like CdSe, CdTe, etc.

·        Organic solar cells: Design,fabrication and characterization oforganicsolar cells with various kinds of metal oxide and semiconductor nanoparticleslike CdSe NWs, CdTe NWs, Fe2O3, WO3, etc.

·        Microfluidicsfor molecular biology: Design,fabricationand characterization of microfluidic devices for on-chip cell lysis, PCR, DNAdetection, RT-PCR, and integrated platform for genetic analysis.
