Qionghua Wang

Personal Introduction

Qiong-Hua Wang is a professor of optics at the School ofInstrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering, Beihang University. She was a professor at Sichuan University from2004 to 2018. She was a post-doctoral research fellow at the School ofOptics/CREOL at the University of Central Florida from 2001 to 2004. She workedat the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) from1995 to 2001. She received B. S., M. S. and Ph. D. degrees from UESTC in 1992,1995 and 2001, respectively. She published more than 300 papers cited byscience citation index and authored 3 books. She holds 6 U. S. patents and morethan 160 Chinese patents. She is Fellow of SID and OPTICA. She isassociate/subject editors of PhotoniX and Journalof the Society for Information Display. Sheis a recipient of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, aleading talent in scientific and technological innovation of the National TenThousand Talents and a Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor of theMinistry of Education. Her research interests include display and imagingtechnologies.

Speech Introduction

This short course will explain the principle ofstereo vision, and introduce the stereoscopic 3D display, glasses-free 3Ddisplay based on lenticular lens, integrated imaging light field 3D display,and holographic 3D display for Metaverse. Prospect of 3D display technologieswill be given.
