Ling Xia(夏岭)Dr. Ling Xia, was born in 1987, received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronic Science and Technology from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2009 and 2012, and PhD degree in Industrial Design from Delft University of Technology, Delft, the Netherlands, in 2016. Now, she does research and gives lectures in College of IoT Engineering, Hohai University, Changzhou, China. Her research interests covers the effects of overhead glare on visual discomfort with LED office lighting, the form-given quality of lighting in design, human being’s perception of light distribution and the perceptual metrics of light field in real environments and the objective measurement and visualization of light field in 3D space. She has published more than 15 research papers in various international journals as the first author, among which two of the publications won the 2017 Walsh-Weston award of Lighting Research& Technology. |
