Miyakawa received his M.S. in Material Science from University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2008, and the Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2020. Previously, he was a researcher on display technology at Sony Corporation from 2008 to 2015. From 2018 to 2019, he researched stretchable and wearable electronics as a visiting scholar at Stanford University. He is currently a researcher at NHK Science and Technology Research Laboratories. His research interests include display devices, printed electronics, and flexible and stretchable electronics.
