I-Zone at ICDT 2026


I-Zone will be provided for live demonstrations of emerging technologies in display-related areas. The exhibit is a sister event of the I-Zone at annual SID Display Week sponsored by the Society of Information Display. The I-Zone at ICDT 2026 will showcase the cutting-edge demos and prototypes that will lead to the products of tomorrow in the display-related areas.


The I-Zone offers start-up companies (Group A) and university/government laboratories (Group B) spaces and opportunities to present their prototypes or other hardware demo units or engineering samples or application scenario for three days free of charge, and gives attendees a chance to view best-in-class emerging display-related technologies in a dedicated area. The organization committee is actively encouraging participation by small companies, startups, universities, government labs, and independent research labs.


The I-Zone Selection Committee will evaluate submissions and select the strongest proposals to receive free space within the I-Zone. If their proposal is accepted, applicants must cover their own expenses, including travel, lodging, and the creation of a table-top exhibit demonstrating their prototypes. In addition, a knowledgeable person must be in presence, while the I-Zone is open to all attendees, to run the demonstration and answer questions.


The deadline for applying to the 2026 I-Zone at ICDT is March 15 , 2026.

New Technologies or Prototypes Application

Companies, organizations, and individuals interested in showcasing new technologies or prototypes are welcome to submit their entries to the ICDT Organizing Committee. The submission deadline is March 15, 2026.

Before submitting your entry, please ensure that:


· Your product or technology represents a new advancement.

· Your product or technology has not been released prior to the exhibition.

An evaluation for the I-Zone Innovation Awards will be conducted onsite, followed by an award ceremony on the last day of the conference. Certificates and prizes will be presented, and the award results will be published on this WeChat official account and the ICDT official website after the event.

The ICDT 2026 Innovation Zone has been further upgraded, with new application categories added. Applicants who are interested must download and complete the form below, providing an innovative description of application scenarios for display technologies over the next decade. The submission deadline is March 15, 2026.

Application Scenario Description

Describe the innovative application scenarios in which displays will be used over the next decade, as well as the target user groups.
Clearly explain the real-world problems this application scenario addresses or the needs it fulfills.
State the existing technological foundations and the current level of technological maturity related to this application scenario.

Display Specifications and Selection Requirements

Clearly indicate the type(s) of display required for this application scenario (e.g., LCD, OLED, transparent LED, flexible display, laser projection, electronic paper, etc.).

Market and Development Plan

Expected Market Value: Analyze the market size, competitive advantages, and the industrial or social value of the application scenario.
Estimated Development Cost and Timeline: Provide an estimated project budget and expected development schedule.
