During the ICDT conference, we will continue to hold the Metaverse and Display Special Forum, which aims to explore the relevant display technologies that can boost the metaverse development. The forum focuses on interactive display technologies that are highly related to the six core technologies of the metaverse, including but not limited to true three-dimensional display based on light field display, holographic display, interactive behavior and scene acquisition technology, human perception technology, and digital twin technology. Participants are experts from universities and research institutions, R&D personnel, and enterprise technical personnel, business executives. The forum is one of the popular events during ICDT, and sponsoring the forum helps to increase the industry influence of sponsors.
In response to the revolutionary evolution of display technology, the Society for Information Display (SID) has expanded to include image-related technologies in addition to retaining the traditional field of existing display technologies. AI for Imaging and Display Special Forum is specially held to encompass the following contents, including image capture & processing,computer vision, artificial intelligence & machine learning, autonomous systems& applications. Once the forum was launched, it received an overwhelming response. The combination of imaging and display will bring a new industry - a rich media industry, which is a new industrial cluster. Human Factor and Visual Health Special Forum will delve into the relationship between human factors engineering and visual health.
